Magnificent Miners

Miss Ford and Mrs Skym would all like to welcome you to Magnificent Miners. We are a hard-working, dedicated team of staff who work collaboratively to strive for excellence and hard work in everything we do. We aim to provide all pupils in our class with fun, engaging and stimulating classroom activities that will enable some of our youngest pupils to develop into independent learners.

We aim to ensure that all pupils enjoy their busy nursery day and leave with a smile.

CLASS TIMINGS

The nursery class starts at 9.00 am and finishes at 11:30am.

UNIFORM

Please ensure your child's name is on their bags, coats and jumpers/cardigans etc to ensure these can be returned if they are misplaced. Please pack a spare set of clothes for your child in their school bag.

Snack

Children will be encouraged to prepare and access rolling snack at the nursery. The cost of this is £1.50 a week. Alternatively, please provide your children with their own healthy snack, clearly labelled with their name for the session. Free milk will be provided. Please provide your child with a water bottle in order for them to access water during the session.

Seren's Adventure (Welsh home link book)

Seren will be sent home with Welsh Pupil of the Week on a Friday. Please can you ensure that your child completes at least one page in Seren's book and that it is returned to school the following Thursday so that another child can take it home.

Boromi Bags

Boromi bags will be sent home with pupils weekly on a rotary basis. These bags contain activities and resources to support your child's language and play at home. Please return these bags along with the instructions and resources to school by the following Thursday. More information will be provided within the Boromi bag.
